Located in EPCOT, Mission Space is a thrilling simulator style adventure where you journey to Mars all while helping your there capsule mates control your spacecraft. This ride has two separate experiences allowing you to choose between very intense (orange) and equally exhilarating (green). Here is what you need to know about each option.
Mission Orange: Mars Mission
Mission orange uses a centrifuge helping it recreate the G-forces and speed to recreate the feeling of an actual spacecraft take off and re-entry. This is in addition to the visual simulation on the screen in your “cockpit” This is the Mission my boys choose every time. Guests need to be at least 44” for Mission Orange.
Due to it’s intensity Orange mission is not recommended for riders who have heart and blood pressure issues, Neck and back problems or those who are easily subject to motion sickness. Neither mission is suggested for expectant mothers.
Mission Green: Earth Mission
Green is more my speed. This adventure leaves out that centrifuge part so there is no spinning and G-forces to worry about. The “cockpit” simulation still results in some slight movements but nothing compared to orange. The Mission Green flight allows guest 40” and up to participate.
This mission can still cause motion sickness so be aware. Neither mission is suggested for expectant mothers.
